Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the surface of the Moon, passed away on Saturday August 25, 2012, at age 82. His one small step on the Moon was truly a giant leap for mankind. It showed what a united country can do when they place their efforts to it. The Apollo 11 Moon Mission was the seed that will grow to humankindís return to the Moon to stay. From there Mars settlement and eventual practical star travel will in the future be made possible. Neil Armstrong was humble in the face of greatness. He was a true American hero that the youth could look up to. Space Exploration Day is a potential Holiday that will celebrate humankindís first steps onto the surface of another celestial body. People celebrating the first Moon Landing and Moonwalk should set Apollo-Like-Goals to make life better for humanity.
